ack in in 1988, my wife Fay and I saw a need for creative, whimsical, hand painted and hand crafted children's furniture in a price range that everyone could afford. From small beginnings in our basement, with only a few tools and a lot of heart, we created the Briar Patch.

Our success was way beyond our expectations! We found ourselves moving into three different and ever-larger facilities over the next three years until finally settling into a large and comfortable complex in Limestone, New York.
